Part Time Office Manager

 

The office of Auckland Greyhound Racing Club oversees greyhound racing in the northern region administering 107 totalisator race meetings annually at the Manukau & Cambridge tracks.

 

The Office Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manger in the smooth running of the operation. 

 

We are looking for an experienced administrator to part time (25hrs per week Monday to Friday), at the Auckland Office, located in the Manukau Sports Bowl.  The role would suit someone with a positive attitude, good attention to detail, self motivated and a willingness to adapt to circumstances.

The work involves reception, accounts payable & receivable, payroll, Health & Safety records, administration of racing event coordination and general office duties.

 

For success you will need:

·        Solid MYOB or similar experience, including payroll, to trial balance

·        Intermediate Word and Excel skills

·        Well-organised and totally reliable

·        Excellent communication skills with a cheerful disposition

 

Previous experience or an understanding of the racing industry would be advantageous but not essential.
